This topic connects psychiatry + internal medicine + nutrition + emergency medicine. In the exam, do not present anorexia and bulimia only as “psychological problems.” They are eating disorders with potentially severe cardiovascular, electrolyte, endocrine, gastrointestinal, hematological, skeletal, and neurological complications.
