This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you may and may not do when you use MedSchoolSOS. It is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses the service — whether you are signed in, subscribed, or just browsing. By using MedSchoolSOS, you agree to follow it.
Our content and intellectual property
The notes, practice questions, and downloadable Anki decks are ours. We put real work into them, and a paid subscription buys you personal access — not ownership. You must not:
- copy, share, resell, redistribute, publish, post, or sublicense our notes, questions, or Anki decks, in whole or in part;
- treat the downloadable decks as anything other than personal study material — they are for your own revision, not for circulation;
- use our content (or any export of it) to build, train, or seed a competing product, service, or dataset, including any machine-learning model.
Your account
Your subscription is for one person — you. You must not share your account, login details, or active subscription with anyone else, or let another person study from it. One person per account, always.
Technical limits
To keep the service fast, fair, and secure for everyone, you must not:
- scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-download any part of the service;
- use bots, scripts, or other automation against the service;
- circumvent the paywall or any access, authentication, or security control;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software, except to the limited extent the law expressly allows;
- probe, scan, overload, disrupt, or attack the service or the infrastructure it runs on.
Your private notes
You can store your own personal study notes, and they stay private to you — we do not read them in the ordinary course of running the service. In return, you must not put anything unlawful, infringing, or malicious into them (for example, other people's copyrighted material, or code intended to harm the service).
No misrepresentation
MedSchoolSOS is an independent study resource. You must not present it — or anything from it — as official, or as affiliated with, approved by, or endorsed by any university, exam board, or other authority. It is not.
What happens if you break this policy
Breaching this policy is a breach of our Terms of Service. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, depending on the seriousness of the breach. Where conduct may infringe copyright, our Copyright / DMCA Policy also applies.
Reporting and contact
If you spot misuse — a shared account, leaked content, scraping, or anything else here — please tell us at support@medschoolsos.com. For questions about this policy, contact us at legal@medschoolsos.com.
